Man seriously hurt after 100-foot fall near Sequoia National Forest waterfall

A man suffered serious injuries late Saturday morning after falling 100 feet near Nobe Young Falls in Johnsondale at Sequoia National Forest, the Tulare County Sheriff’s office reported.

Deputies said the 39-year-old man fell about 11 a.m.

The sheriff’s Search and Rescue team responded to the scene.

The man was airlifted to a local hospital but his condition was not known.
