California man, 74, dies after his motorcycle collides with a vehicle in Clovis

Fresno Bee File

A Clovis man riding his motorcycle Monday night was killed in a collision with a vehicle, the California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities said that 74-year-old Chris Green was riding his 2011 Kawasaki Z1000 behind a 2015 Toyota Sienna eastbound on Herndon Avenue, approaching Thompson Avenue, just after 6 p.m. Monday. Both drivers appeared to enter the westbound lane on Thompson at the same time when the accident happened, and the motorcyclist was ejected, CHP said.

Green was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP said it is still investigating the collision.
