Jehovah’s Witnesses ‘Always Rejoice’ convention moved to streaming platform
The annual “Always Rejoice” convention for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bakersfield will be held for the first time on a virtual platform.
The event will be available to view during July and August. Typically, these conventions are held in stadiums, arenas, conference halls and smaller gathering places around the world.
The convention was scheduled to be held in July and August at the Mechanics Bank and Theater Convention Center in Bakersfield, where a total peak attendance of 30,000 was expected to attend but was canceled in March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
