A woman was sent to the hospital after a three-car collision in east-central Fresno, police said.

Witnesses told Fresno police that about 2:30 p.m., a Cadillac was traveling eastbound on Clinton Avenue in the No. 2 lane when the driver ran a red light and struck the side of a Ford Fusion being driven by a woman northbound in the No. 1 lane on Maple Avenue.

The impact caused the woman’s vehicle to spin and collide with a black truck on Maple. An investigation was continuing.

The woman, who police said is in her early 20s, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and listed in stable condition, police said.

The two people in the truck were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
