Firefighters battle 120-acre fire near Three Rivers in Tulare County
Firefighters in Tulare County were working to control a 120-acre fire burning east of Three Rivers.
The Forks Fire started Thursday night off of South Fork Drive and Salt Creek Fire Control Road, east of Three Rivers, and consumed 100 acres in the first 12 hours.
Cal Fire reported at around 7 p.m. Friday that the fire had grown to 120 acres and was at 35 percent containment. Cal Fire did not name a cause for the fire.
