Protest along Visalia’s Mooney Boulevard draws Sunday crowd
For the second day in a row, protesters lined Mooney Boulevard in Visalia on Sunday in support of Black Lives Matter.
Around 200 people in a racially diverse crowd stood on the sidewalk from Walnut Avenue to Princeton Avenue. They called for justice and equality and an end to racism. Passing cars honked in support.
It was another in a long line of central San Joaquin Valley protests. And both Visalia weekend events were in contrast to May 30 when a Jeep driver hit two protesters on the street.
