4-year-old severely hurt after suffering electric shock in Oakhurst
A 4-year-old boy was hospitalized with what were described as severe injuries after he suffered an electric shock at an Oakhurst home.
Emergency personnel were called to the 40000 block of Road 425a about 5 p.m. Monday, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
The boy was playing with a power inverter when he was electrocuted, according to authorities. He was taken by ambulance to a helicopter for a flight to a hospital in Fresno.
On Friday, Madera County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sarah Jackson reported that the boy was listed in stable condition.
