New earthquake rattles central Nevada near Tonopah
An earthquake rattled the Nevada high desert near Tonopah early Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 5.0-magnitude temblor at 5:36 a.m. was followed by aftershocks and comes less than a week after a 6.5 earthquake shook the region.
There were no initial reports of damage.
