Broadway in Fresno gives us something to look forward to, sets ‘Hamilton’ dates for 2021
While the vast majority – read: all – of live theater performances and tours have been canceled for the immediate future due to social distancing policies and stay-at-home orders, Broadway in Fresno on Tuesday offered up a reminder that there is light at the end of this particular tunnel.
And it’s called “Hamilton.”
The mega-hit rap musical is part of Broadway in Fresno’s 2020/2021 season. We’ve known that since last year.
Now, we officially have performance dates. “Hamilton” is slated for a 13-day run at Fresno’s Saroyan Theatre on March 2-14, 2021.
There is no word when tickets will be on sale, but season subscriptions are expected to be available in late May. Subscription renewals are on sale now. Those renewing from the 2019/2020 season would get guaranteed first access to tickets, according to the show’s original announcement last May.
Along with “Hamilton,” the 2020/2021 season will includes performance runs of “Cats” (Jan. 5-6), “Anastasia” (Feb. 2-3) and “Hairspray” (April 5-6).
