Minarets High student gives back to community with senior project

Cyrus Christensen’s senior project at Minarets High School involved many in the mountain community.

Christensen organized the Golden Gallop 2020 cross country race for elementary school students, and more than 400 from 10 schools arrived Thursday, March 12 to participate, Minarets athletics director Karra Zamora said.

The fifth annual Golden Gallop was special because of Christensen’s leadership setting it up as part of his senior legacy.

“I think it’s the biggest one yet,” Christensen said.
