Adventist Health Tulare patient in isolation as precaution for coronavirus symptoms
Adventist Health Tulare has confirmed one patient had been placed in isolation as a precaution after showing symptoms similar to the coronavirus, or COVID-19.
According to Melinda Morales, Adventist Health Tulare communication manager, the hospital is following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance to take extra precautions when a patient has symptoms such as fever requiring hospitalization not linked to another illness and with no source of exposure.
Morales said the patient is set to undergo further testing. There has been no positive confirmation that the patient has COVID-19.
