Children in backseat when vehicle crashes in Clovis, killing man
A man was killed Saturday in single-vehicle crash in Clovis.
Two children were in the backseat of a vehicle when it crashed on Minnewawa Avenue between Shaw and Barstow avenues around 5 p.m., according to Clovis police.
The children are expected to be OK, police say, but the man died.
He was identified Monday by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office as Victor Johanson, 71, of Fresno.
The cause of the crash is not clear. The road was closed for hours as police investigated.
