81-year-old man found dead near his home, a week after he’d gone missing, officials say

Update: The Madera County Sheriff’s Office located the body of Victor Williams Sr. on Saturday.

The 81-year old was found deceased in a wooded area near his home. No cause of death has been released, but the circumstances surrounding his death were not suspicious, the sheriff’s office said.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an 81-year-old who was last seen by his family a week ago.

Victor Williams Sr. was last seen Nov. 26 walking on Road 225 in the Mission Drive area of North Fork on Nov. 26, according to the sheriff’s office.

Williams is Native American, has gray hair and brown eyes and is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 165 weighs pounds. He has tattoos on his upper right arm, chest, right forearm and right wrist and was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
