Ethical Leadership award winners announced
Fresno State named Luis Santana, executive director and founder of Reading and Beyond, as its third annual Ethical Leadership Award winner on May 8.
The Better Business Bureau also recognized several businesses for their ethics: Distinguished Ethics in the Marketplace – Quality Home Services; Educational Services –California Institute of Medical Science; Health Services – Willow Dental Group; Media Products & Services – Momentum Broadcasting; Home Services – RFMC, Inc.
Clovis West student wins scholarship
Clovis West High School student Naasir S. Farooqi was chosen as a National Merit Scholarship winner. Farooqi, who is interested in bioengineering, will receive $2,500.
Summer camp at the CCSPCA
The Central California SPCA is holding its fourth annual Pawsitive Adventures Animal Camp for kids ages 8-12.
The summer camp will run 8 a.m. to noon June 17-21, with another session July 15-19. Enrollment costs $130 per child.
