Missing 15-year-old girl last seen at Sanger High has been found, police say

UPDATE: The Sanger Police Department reported Wednesday afternoon that the girl has been found and is safe.

“After considerable effort and investigative work, Sanger Officers have found missing person- Desirae Villarreal. She is safe and uninjured and being re-united with family. We all appreciate the sharing of the post and getting the word out, in the strong effort to find her and get her back home. Thank you to all who assisted, supported and/or prayed for a good resolution. “

ORIGINAL STORY: Sanger police are asking for the public’s help to find a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday.

The missing, Desirae Villarreal, was last seen at Sanger High School on Friday morning. Desirae did not make it home after school was let out, Sanger police announced Monday afternoon in a Facebook post.

“If you have any information on her whereabouts or who she might be with, please contact Officer Amanda Nelson at 559-875-8521,” the post reads. “Her parents are very concerned about her safety and well-being. If you have any information that might be helpful, you are urged to call Sanger PD.”

The Sanger Police Department case number is 19-3547.

Desirae is described as 5-foot 7-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. She wears glasses and has a nose piercing and pierced tongue. She was last seen wearing black leggings and an unknown colored top.
