A 16-year-old with a heart condition and history of harming himself is missing.
Christian “Chris” Hall, a student at Hoover High School in northeast Fresno, was last seen Tuesday around a Boys & Girls Club near Fresno State, between Barstow and Shaw avenues.
His mother, Rosalynda “Billy” Castaneda, said Chris doesn’t have the medication he needs to address his enlarged heart, or the medication he takes for depression and anxiety.
Castaneda said Chris has been hospitalized in the past for suicidal thoughts and cutting himself. She said he’s also on probation and has been missing psychiatric appointments and treatments to address drug and alcohol use.
“Mostly I’m just worried and concerned about what he’s doing or who he’s with … and I’m just worried about the drug use,” Castaneda said. “I just don’t want it to get worse. I feel like the longer he’s gone, the more time he has to do things.”
Castaneda said she traced online activity that she believes came from Chris to a phone in the Shaw-Clovis Mobile Home Park in Clovis, but that phone has been inactive since early Wednesday morning.
Chris is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with dark brown hair and eyes.
Anyone with information about where he may be is asked to call the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-7000 or Castaneda at 559-417-1007 or on her Facebook page.
