Iggy Azalea tour stop at Fresno’s Save Mart Center canceled
Iggy Azalea’s “The Great Escape” show scheduled for Sept. 20 at Save Mart Center has been canceled, it was announced Friday.
Ticketmaster posted news of the cancellation on its website. Refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase.
According to Billboard, Azalea has canceled all of her “Great Escape” tour, not just the Fresno concert date.
Azalea confirmed the cancellation Friday afternoon on her Twitter account: “As u may know, the tour is cancelled. I’m so sad and sorry to let my fans down … we’ll be back out on the road when the next album is done.”
Billboard said Ticketmaster sent out an email of the news that reports: “There will be a new tour planned around Iggy’s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
The tour had been slated to kick off Sept. 18 in San Diego.
Billboard said the tour’s cancellation comes just months after the rapper rescheduled the dates for the trek back in March “due to production delays.” That included an original April date at Save Mart Center that was pushed to the Sept. 20 date.
