Water main break floods roads near elementary school
City crews were busy Monday morning repairing a broken water main in front of River Bluff Elementary School near Herndon Avenue and Highway 99 in northwest Fresno.
The break is near the intersection of Riverside and Palo Alto avenues.
Mark Standriff, spokesman for the City of Fresno, said initial reports indicated that a 14-inch line was damaged sometime around 6:30 a.m. and it might take four to six hours to repair.
