Four vehicles in Highway 41 collision near Coarsegold
California Highway patrol officers are responding to a four-vehicle collision on rural Highway 41 near Coarsegold that forced a temporary road closure.
The accident happened about 7:40 a.m. near the Rocky Cut area, the CHP reported. Injuries were reported, though it was not known how severe the injuries were and how many people were involved, the CHP said.
The accident closed Highway 41 in both directions between North Fork Road and Road 208 — an area that features narrow roads with no shoulders — for Caltrans cleanup. The highway reopened at 8:53 a.m.
