Firefighters put out blaze near Auberry and Millerton roads

A three-acre brushfire that erupted Monday afternoon near Auberry and Millerton roads grew to 10 acres before being contained, Fresno County Cal Fire officials said.

The fire started at approximately 4:30 p.m., with seven fire engines responding.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, but no major structure damage or road closures occurred.
