After nearly two years since it was burned down, Livingstone’s may be set to reopen
The long-await return of Livingstone’s Restaurant & Pub is near.
In fact, there’s a rumor it could be as soon as next week.
The Instagram account Fresno Street Eats says Livingstone’s is set to reopen Dec. 5. Messages left with Livingstone’s owners Linda Nitzel and Cynthia Green were not returned Wednesday night.
An arsonist allegedly set fire to the popular Tower District bar and restaurant back on Dec. 20, 2016, causing estimated damage between $400,000 and $500,000 and putting its 30 employees out of work.
Since then, Livingstone’s has been one of the most asked-about places in Fresno.
The restaurant has been in the process of renovation for quite some time, with new booths installed, a bar top rebuilt and the concrete floor refinished back in August.
