Catholic Charities gives away 1,200-plus Thanksgiving meals

Catholic Charities on Fulton Street near downtown Fresno gave away more than 1,200 turkeys and meal boxes to families in need Wednesday morning.

Ashlee Wolf, development director of the ministry, said a line had formed around the block hours before the giveaway started about 8 a.m., including many who slept outside overnight.
