A room of a Clovis home went up in flames Thursday night, and the family is claiming someone threw something through their window to start the fire.
Tony Escobedo, Battalion Chief of Fresno Fire, said the department received calls around 7 p.m. of a fire in a home at 5850 East Ramona Avenue.
The fire crew arrived to find a single room of the house engulfed in flames.

The family was evacuated, and two members were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
The family told the fire department that they were in the back of the house when someone threw something to break the window of their guest bedroom and cause the fire, according to Escobedo.
Fire crews were able stop the fire from spreading to the rest of the house.
The investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
