Dairy Princess to represent dairy industry in Fresno and Madera counties

Amber LaSalle of Firebaugh and Stevie Davis of Caruthers will compete for the title of Dairy Princess on May 30 at CPDES Hall in Fresno.

The two women will take part in the District 8 Dairy Princess Contest for a chance to represent the dairy industry in the counties of Fresno and Madera.

The winner will serve the area as ambassador for the dairy industry at schools, service groups and with the media.

LaSalle attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and majored in dairy science with an emphasis in husbandry.

She is employed at the Cal Poly dairy and she spends her free time helping with other activities on the dairy.

Davis attends Caruthers High School where she participates in FFA, serving as chapter officer and giving farm tours to incoming freshmen.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour, and the contest will begin at 7 p.m.
