Salvation Army to hold open house in Tulare
The Salvation Army will hold an open house and community resource fair Sunday, May 24, in Tulare.
The free event includes a water slide, dunk tank, face painting and free snow cones. Food sales benefit The Salvation Army Tulare Corps.
Free health screenings will be offered, and tours given of The Salvation Army Silvercrest residence and Tulare Community Center.
The event will be held 1 to 4 p.m. at The Salvation Army Community Center at 314 E. San Joaquin Ave.
Participants include FoodLink, AmVets, Tulare Community Health Clinic, CSET, Tulare Emergency Aid and Tulare Volunteer Bureau.
