Splash Parks to help Fresno youngters beat the heat

Splash Parks will open in Fresno on Saturday and will have interactive water features, misters and cascades that allow children to play in the water.

Three locations will be open daily through mid-October from noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. the rest of the week.

The Splash Parks use reclaimed water and will not be a drain on the city’s water supply.

Locations include: Dickey Playground, 50 N. Calaveras St.; Figarden Loop Park, 4265 W. Figarden Drive; Todd Beamer Park, 9797 N. Maple Ave.
