One dead in rollover accident in Madera County
One person is dead in a single vehicle accident on Avenue 12 in Madera County, the California Highway Patrol said.
About 2:08 p.m. Tuesday, the vehicle overturned into a field west of Highway 41 at the entrance to a golf course, Sgt. Greg Rodriguez said. The vehicle hit a flag pole and the driver was trapped in the vehicle.
It was not immediately known if more than one person was in the vehicle, he sad. No major disruption to traffic in the area was expected.
