A storage building that housed farm equipment west of Fresno was damaged Monday night in a fire.

Just before 7:30 p.m., Fresno Fire responded to Chateau Fresno and Shaw avenues at Russell Harris Farms.

Amado Gomez, the manager of the farm, said a small building with a large garage attached to it caught on fire. No one was injured or inside, he added.

The building was not used frequently and the garage was used to store a tractor, farm equipment and chemicals used for weed abatement.
