While owner apparently was away, Fresno mobile home goes up in smoke
A mobile home caught fire west of Highway 99 in Fresno on Thursday night, firefighters said.
The fire was reported just before 8 p.m. at Westbrook Mobile Home Park on Clinton Avenue just west of Valentine Avenue.
Battalion Chief Randy Reitz said it appeared just one person was living there but not home when the fire broke out.
The cause remains under investigation.
