More than 9,000 PG&E customers lose power in Lemoore
UPDATE, 10:20 a.m.: Power has been restored to all customers affected by the outage, PG&E announced at 10:10 a.m.
ORIGINAL: More than 9,300 Pacific Gas & Electric customers lost power in Lemoore because of an equipment failure at a substation Wednesday morning, a spokesman for the utility said.
The breakdown, which happened at 6:43 a.m., initially affected about 10,000 customers, PG&E spokesman Denny Boyles said in an email. Several hundred were restored, but as of 8 a.m. 9,385 remained without power.
