Teen pedestrian hurt in Visalia crash
A 17-year-old boy suffered head and leg injuries Friday evening when he was struck by a vehicle in northwest Visalia, police said.
The teen was crossing Demaree Street at Elowin Avenue at 6:10 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle heading south on Demaree, police said. He was taken to a local hospital and was reported in stable condition.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash, police said.
