Coroner releases names of a homicide victim and four killed in traffic collisions

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office released the names of people involved in fatal incidents in the last two weeks.

• Mary Brown, 75, of Fresno was the victim of a Nov. 21 beating in her home on East Robinson Avenue near Dakota and Maroa avenues in central Fresno. She died Nov. 27. The homicide investigation is ongoing. (An earlier version of this report incorrectly identified how Brown died.)
• On Nov. 24, Martha Alexandros, 57, of Visalia died after she was in traffic collision at Friant and Fort Washington roads in north Fresno.
• Jesus Gutierrez, 64, of Armona died Nov. 28 from a traffic collision Nov. 21 at 16th and Flint avenues in Hanford.
• Rodolfo Betancourt Jr., 50, of Fresno died Nov. 29 in a traffic collision in front of an apartment complex in Huron.
• Edward Marquez, 53, of Fowler died after a traffic collision on Nov. 30 at South Temperance and East Central avenues south of Fresno.
