Yosemite National Park’s weekend entry fee waived for Veterans Day
Yosemite National Park will provide free entrance this weekend in honor of Veterans Day.
The fee break applies to both Saturday and Sunday, though fees associated with camping, lodging or activities within the park still apply, the National Park Service stated.
Active duty military members also are eligible for a free annual national park pass, while permanently disabled veterans can receive a free lifetime pass to national parks, wildlife refuges, forests and other federal lands.
Yosemite Area Regional Transit System will be providing free rides to Yosemite Valley this weekend in honor of Veterans Day.
