Fresno motorcycle officer helps unconscious man downtown
A Fresno motorcycle officer Tuesday came to the aid of a man found unconscious on a street in downtown Fresno.
The man was still unconscious when he was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, police Sgt. Pete Boyer said.
The officer was alerted by a witness and found the man on Van Ness Avenue at the northbound Highway 41 offramp, where he began giving CPR before paramedics arrived.
Boyer said wasn’t carrying identification and might be homeless. It did not initially appear he had sustained physical trauma.
