Jessica Milam returns home to Sanger after visiting Las Vegas victim memorial
Jessica Milam, the Sanger native who has been hospitalized since being injured in the mass shooting in Las Vegas on Oct. 1, has finally returned home, her father said.
Ed Milam said his daughter was released Saturday afternoon from Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. Jessica Milam stopped briefly at the memorial set up for victims near the Las Vegas sign before being driven home, her father said.
Jessica also made a stop at the McDonald’s on Las Vegas Boulevard because that’s where she and her friend were supposed to go before leaving town, before the shooting started, her father said.
She made it to Sanger late Saturday night, where she will continue to recover at her parents’ home.
