Pence will travel to Mojave Tuesday afternoon to tour a test center for commercial space flight.
The vice president offered assistance to California when speaking with Gov. Jerry Brown Monday evening for the tragic fires burning in Northern California.
“We are with you,” he said. “The dryness of the climate, the strength of the winds, you all in California know much better than this Midwesterner does, but I can assure you as I did the governor, that the federal government stands ready to provide any and all assistance to the state of California as your courageous firefighters and first responders confront this widening challenge.”
To California, we say: We are with you, our prayers are with you, and we will be with you until we put the fires out. pic.twitter.com/05cLKty51H
