When it comes to Rubik’s Cubes, these competitors know all the moves
Scrambling a Rubik’s Cube is the easy part, but realigning each side to a single color is where it gets tricky – for most of us.
But for those who tend to think algorithmically (you mathletes know who you are) and other inveterate puzzle-solvers, the Rubik’s Cube is a source of fun and not frustrating futility. And dozens of them got to show how good they are at solving the three-dimensional puzzle Saturday at Bitwise Stadium South in downtown Fresno in the World Cube Association’s Fresno Fall 2017.
Co-organizer Ryan Jew said 80 people had pre-registered for the event.
The categories included 3X3, 2x2, pyraminx, blindfolded and one-handed. Check here for the winners.
