Fire damages home Wednesday in downtown Fresno
A fire in downtown Fresno significantly damaged a home on Wednesday, according to Fresno Fire Department reports.
Firefighters reported to the fire about 3 p.m. and found smoke coming from the attic of the single-story home in the 1300 block of Glenn Avenue.

There were 27 firefighters at the scene. The fire was contained within about 15 minutes.
Extensive damage occurred in the attic, said Hector Vasquez, Fresno Fire Department spokesman.
He said there were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
