Fire guts home in central Fresno
A quick-moving fire gutted a home in central Fresno on Friday morning, the Fresno Fire Department reported.
Battalion Chief Tony Escobedo said no one was injured in the fire, which erupted about 10:30 a.m. on Fountain Way, east of Palm Avenue.
The home appeared to be a total loss, Escobedo said.
The cause of the fire and its financial cost is under investigation.
