He died when he rolled his pickup; CHP suspects alcohol involved
One man was killed in a solo car crash just east of Burrel early Monday.
California Highway Patrol was called to the scene just after midnight on South Chateau Fresno Avenue approaching West Davis Avenue.
The CHP reported that the driver was traveling south on Chatueau Avenue in a GMC pickup when the vehicle began to pull to the right of the road. The driver then over-corrected the vehicle and lost control, causing him to sideswipe a telephone pole. The vehicle went back into the road and overturned. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP reported that alcohol may have been involved.
