Tulare driver strikes 2 pedestrians, woman critical

Two pedestrians were injured, one critically, in a collision with a car late Tuesday in Visalia.

Visalia police reported the crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. as a Chrysler driven by Gloria Semoes, 78, of Tulare was southbound on Mooney Boulevard north of Orchard Avenue when she collided with Jason Dockins, 29, and Brittany Lamb, 31, both of Visalia, who were crossing Mooney.

Dockins was treated at Kaweah Delta Medical center and released. Lamb was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where she is in critical condition.

The collision is under investigation.
