An at-risk adult who went missing Friday was found a few miles from his Shaver Lake home Saturday, the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner’s Office said.
The 44-year-old man, who has Down syndrome, went missing near his home before 5:52 p.m. Friday. Authorities said the man has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old child and has difficulty hearing.
He was found at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, just a few miles from his home with no injuries. However, he was tired and thirsty.
The sheriff’s office said he was happy to be found.
