Grass fire causing backups on Highway 99 in Madera County
A grass fire is causing traffic backups on Highway 99 in Madera County Thursday, said Caltrans.
The fire began near Avenue 7 and has lanes in both directions closed.
An overturned semi-truck is also causing a southbound closure on Highway 99 and Avenue 24 in Madera County, the California Highway Patrol reports.
