Hundreds of PG&E customers lose power in east-central Fresno

Nearly 800 Pacific Gas & Electric customers in east-central Fresno were without power Sunday night in a residential area near Fresno Yosemite International Airport, according to the company’s outage map.

The power outage occurred off of Shields Avenue between Clovis and Fowler avenues.

The outage began at 9:57 p.m. and power was not expected to be restored until after midnight, the company said.

The cause has not been confirmed.
