Fundraiser benefits Parkinson’s support group
The Fresno County Disc Golf Club held a fundraiser tournament May 27 to benefit the Greater Fresno Parkinson’s support group. The support group received $1,838.56 and the Michael J. Fox Foundation received $150 for a grand total of $1,988.56.
Boys and Girls Club donation
Celebrity chef Liz Milan held a cooking demonstration on June 29 for the children of the East Fresno Boys and Girls Club to share her favorite healthy recipes at the club. As part of the celebration, a $4,000 donation was made to help fund educational, leadership and enrichment programs.
