100-degree weather claims another Fresno event: ‘Movies in the Park’ opener canceled
Fresno’s first “Movies in the Park” night of 2017 has been canceled by the city because of high temperatures and expected continued poor air quality.
The annual summer program instead will have its relaunch on Friday, June 30, with a showing of “Ghostbusters” at downtown Eaton Plaza.
Movies are scheduled for every Friday night through Aug. 11.
