Motorcyclist killed in collision Thursday on Highway 198
A motorcyclist was killed in a collision Thursday morning on Highway 198, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred about 7:21 a.m. when the motorcyclist struck the trailer of a truck, the driver of the truck reported to CHP.
The collision was on eastbound Highway 198, just east of the California Aqueduct in Fresno County, northeast of Huron. The highway was closed for about an hour following the crash.
The man riding the motorcycle was not immediately identified. No other injuries were reported.
