Mariposa high school reunion
Mariposa County High School Alumni Association will hold its annual picnic gathering at 10 a.m. June 17 at the Mariposa Fairgrounds front picnic area, 5007 Fairgrounds Road. All graduates, non-graduates and families are invited to attend and all classes ending in “7” will be recognized. The event will honor Principal Virgil Mullis who passed away in April at the age of 93. Details: 209-966-2250.
Human trafficking program
Centro La Familia Advocacy Services will hold “A Community Convening: Conversations Not Heard,” a victims assistance program on sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 21 at The Falls Event Center, 4105 W. Democratic women’s club to meet
Fresno County Democratic Women’s Club will meet 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 26 at Ramada Inn, 324 E. Shaw Ave. Dillon Savory, political director for the Fresno, Madera, Tulare and Kings Central Labor Council, will speak on the importance of strategic relationships between Democrats, progressive community groups and organized labor. The luncheon costs $20 or $25 after June 21 and the program only is $5. Details: 559-275-1112.
