Memorial motorcycle ride for fallen Fresno deputy Rod Lucas

Fresno area motorcyclists are being invited to take part in a memorial scholarship fund ride in memory of Fresno County Sheriff’s Sgt. Rod Lucas, who was killed in the line of duty when he was accidentally shot by a fellow deputy last year.

The ride will start at 8:30 a.m. on June 10 at Fresno Harley Davidson, 4354 West Shaw Avenue. Tickes are $25 for a single rider and $35 for a couple. A map will be handed out at the start of the ride, which will end with a barbeque lunch in Tranquillity. Riders are asked not to wear colors.
