Motorcyclist hurt in crash in front of Fresno’s River Park center

A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon shortly after 1 p.m. after a collision with a car in front of the River Park shopping center on North Blackstone Avenue.

The crash occurred south of Nees Avenue, where the northbound female rider broadsided a car entering the shopping center. The extent of her injuries was not immediately known, but a police spokesman said she was conscious and talking to officers after the crash.
